Volunteer Role Descriptions

GROUP LEADER—Invest in and encourage a small group of adults as you support their spiritual development and foster their connections with others. Facilitation of discussion—not teaching—is emphasized. Strong Christian faith required; Bible knowledge can be developed over time. Must be a CP member. Serving Commitment: 2–3 hours per week; breaks in July, August, & December.
GROUP LEADERS COACH—Provide support for assigned group leaders, assisting them in shepherding their groups. Must be a small group leader for at least one year. Must be a CP member. Serving Commitment: 2-4 hours per month depending on the number of assigned group leaders.
GROUPS VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR—Assist people’s placement into groups; supplement group leader communications; help identify areas for continuous improvement. Serving Commitment: 3-4 hours per month.
RE-ENGAGE (MARRIAGE MINISTRY) SETUP SUPPORT—Prepare environments for Re-Engage sessions. Serving Commitment: Up to 1 hour per week during Re-Engage term.
RE-ENGAGE TECH OPERATOR—Manage sound, lights and video to create an engaging experience. Serving Commitment: 1 hour per week during Re-Engage sessions.
RE-ENGAGE CHILDCARE VOLUNTEER—Supervise Re-Engage leaders’ kids during the weekly leader meeting. Serving Commitment: 1 hour or each volunteer week.
RE-ENGAGE LEADER MEALS—Prepare and deliver meal(s) for Re-Engage leaders before a session. Serving Commitment: Includes food purchase, preparation, delivery and setup.
