Volunteer Role Descriptions

1:1 BUDDY: Partner with a child who has more complex needs. Commitment: 1 year commitment with various serving times, e.g., every other month or every other week.

OPERATIONS TEAM: Greet and check in/out families. Escort kids to their small group environment. Commitment: 1 year with various serving times, e.g., every other month or every other week.

GROSS MOTOR ROOM: Oversee physical activities and create a safe environment as groups filter in and out throughout the service. Commitment: 1 year with various serving times, e.g., every other month or every other week.

RESILIENCE SUPPORT TEAM: Support children navigating big feelings. (Prior experience with special needs children required.) Commitment: 1 year with various serving times, e.g., every other month or every other week.

SMALL GROUP LEADER: Lead the same small group of kids through a 1-hour program schedule. Commitment: 1 year with various serving times, e.g., every other month or every other week.

SMALL GROUP HELPER: Assist the Small Group Leader with the same small group of kids throughout the 1-hour program schedule. Commitment: 1 year with various serving times, e.g., every other month or every other week.

UNLIMITED EVENT PREP: Help prep curriculum and activities. (This role would be outside of a Sunday morning.) Commitment: 1 year with various serving times, e.g., every other month or every other week.
