Volunteer Role Descriptions

EVENT SUPPORT TEAM—Set up and tear down spaces in the building (e.g., chairs, tables, etc.) for CP ministry events and outside events. Commitment: Flexible based on events happening at Center Pointe.
FACILITIES & BUILDING MAINTENANCE—Provide basic maintenance such as drywalling, painting. Maintain grounds, including watering, mulching, trimming, planting. Work experience is required for any repairs involving trade-related skills. Commitment: Flexible based on the facility needs.
SAFETY & SECURITY: EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (ERT)—Provide protection and support for any type of emergency during Sunday morning services and ministry-sponsored events. Must be a Center Pointe member, pass criminal record checks, and complete interview process. Commitment: Arrive 30 minutes before start of service or event. Serve one week for both services per month and monthly meeting.
SAFETY & SECURITY: MEDICAL RESPONSE TEAM (MRT)—Provide support for medical emergencies during Sunday morning services and ministry-sponsored events. Commitment: Arrive 10 minutes before start of service or event. Flexible commitment; serve for one service based on your availability.
SAFETY & SECURITY: BUILDING LOCK-UP TEAM—Complete a building walk-through, checking for lights and running water, locking doors, and setting the alarm. Commitment: Arrive between 9:30 PM and midnight on scheduled day for one day each week.
FUNERAL CARE TEAM: Help set up and tear down for funerals hosted onsite. Greet everyone entering and leaving the Main Lobby to create a warm and welcoming environment for the family and funeral attendees. Commitment: Flexible based on the family's requests and needs.
